Tempus600 has successfully participated in the Danish Congress in Clinical Biochemistry. The congress was held at the Hotel Munkebjerg, 27th – 29th of May 2015, with visitor coming from all over the country.
Again, the congress displayed many interesting lectures and speakers. The focus this year was on personalized Medicine and Targeted Therapy and as well the well-established tasks and areas within clinical biochemistry. The bar is set, to be at the forefront of the development of clinical biochemistry.
The topic of the third session on Wednesday the 27th was the “Transport of samples”, where the experience from Copenhagen and Region Midt (Middle Jutland) was presented.
These were followed by a presentation of Tempus600 – the technical data and validations by Inge-Lise Søtang Jacobsen from Esbjerg Hospital. It was explained that Tempus600 had been chosen to transport their sample by the hospital due to their wish to automate and consolidate their future production. The testing and validation conducted by Esbjerg Hospital shows, again, that samples transported by the Tempus600 system are not affected. Also shown, was a comparison of turn-around-times 2013 vs. 2015, which show an improvement of about 45 minutes. Lastly, it was highlighted that the Tempus600 systems in Esbjerg Hospital runs with an up time of 99%.
The next presentation delivered by Carsten Thomsen, Head of Lab at Sygehus Lillebælt Vejle Sygehus, was about how it all began regarding Tempus600 through to where Timedico A/S – Tempus600 is today. From the early days in 2010 until today, 2015, where Timedico A/S are currently installing their 100th Tempus600 system.
On the Thursday, Timedico held a company lecture about the Tempus600 system. The lecture was well visited and many of the attendees had an opportunity to ask questions of both concrete and practical issues as well as the benefits and opportunities offered by the Tempus600 system.
Timedico A/S – Tempus600 had visitors from both existing clients, wishing to share their experiences or briefly talk about new ideas or opportunities, but also from hospitals who do not have Tempus600 installed today who had many good questions and exiting perspectives for the future.
Overall - the many conversations we had during the three days, shows with all clarity the need for the Tempus600 solution, across the regions, borders and challenges.
