We are proud to announce the launch of our new subsidiary, Tempus Sweden AB and welcome Krister Bårdén on board as the New Sales Manager of Tempus Sweden. With the newly established branch in Göteborg, Timedico has strengthened its presence in Sweden.
Timedico has been active in the Nordic region healthcare business for the last 6 years, providing efficiency in blood sample transportation through Tempus600 systems to hospitals in Sweden, Norway and Finland.
“We have experienced great interest for the Tempus600 solution in Sweden, which is sold via direct sales and through our important business partner, Siemens Healthineers. Now is the time to have an organization in place for an active local presence and we are lucky to have appointed Krister Bården, our new Sales Manager, to the new operation”, states Michael Frandsen, Sales Director of Timedico. Swedish hospitals are generally seeking solutions to support the increased share of ambulatory treatment, as well as faster discharge from the wards, in order to meet expectation around better patient treatment combined with lower costs. Tempus600 drastically reduces the response time on blood samples and enables just that. Also, the fact that the system can be installed in just two weeks has proven to be an important factor for Swedish hospitals.
Krister has vast experience advising and selling to public and private hospitals in Sweden and the Nordics, previously working for Carl Zeiss and Smith & Nephew. In this new position, Krister will work to strengthen the level of service, our presence in the marketplace and building the Tempus600 brand in Sweden.
The creation of this new subsidiary in the Nordic region closely follows the launch of Tempus600 UK Ltd. in London in 2017 and Tempus Benelux in 2016.
