4/1/2020 Innovative solutions like the Tempus600 blood sample solution help Danish hospitals to immediately react and increase their COVID-19 capacity. The solution provides a direct transport line from the hospital ward to the laboratory. All types of small clinical samples can be sent with the Tempus systems - including COVID-19 samples, which enables faster response time and reduces the risk of transmitting virus between the wards.
3/3/2020 During the period 2017 - 2019, with the aim of saving time and improving patient flow and treatment, Regional Hospital Viborg installed a total of ten Tempus600 Vita transport systems, which now take care of the transport of samples from the hospital departments and sample delivery unit directly to the automated solution in the laboratory, a process that was previously carried out manually and had been time-consuming.
3/3/2020 Friday February 7th was the official opening of a brand new laboratory and logistics building at the Danish Bispebjerg Hospital, which has one of Europe's largest fully automated laboratories. The facilities will ensure higher quality for the hospital, with faster response times for analyses of the 10 million blood samples that the hospital's clinical biochemistry department currently needs to be able to process every year.
