Automated transport of blood samples in Thailand’s largest regional hospital

The regional hospital previously manually transported over 2,500 samples every day to the central laboratory. Two Tempus600^® Vita systems were part of a two-year project to connect the large Outpatient Department with the Central Laboratory and were installed and commissioned in October 2019.

Two Tempus600^® Vita systems were installed and involved almost 700 m of piping – a record for any hospital in Thailand – and tens of metres longer than the next-longest system in Bangkok’s Ramathibodi Hospital.
