The transportation of blood tubes internally in hospitals is being scrutinized more and more these days. Especially in Scandinavian hospitals, this specialty area has been getting hugely increased attention from both the departments, hospital management, and laboratories.
The most common containers for blood samples are blood vacuum tubes. The blood vacuum tubes differ from other tubes because of the shape of the lid. Blood sample tubes sent from the different wards in the hospital will arrive at the lab, where several solutions for the reception of the samples can be installed.
